About the role:

Responsibilities: | To assist the Editorial team in day-to-day operations, you shall be expected to: 1. Provide comprehensive administrative support for students, including but not limited to portal management 3. Providing comprehensive editorial support for students with respect to a variety of application materials. 4. Promptly available for account communications via WhatsApp messages during work hours |
Candidate requirements:
| · A completed or nearly completed) Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated aptitude and experience in writing – Ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive fashion. · Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. · Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio. · Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision. · Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, students. · A suitable candidate will be a self-motivated, persuasive and charismatic individual, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under the pressure of stringent deadlines. |

We are hiring for Associates in our Profile Building team, who will be assisting with the counselling program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Support 25+ accounts and assist with administrative protocols as required.
-Attend client meetings and shadow student sessions, providing assistance to account leaders or team leadership as required.
-Independently lead some student sessions (as part of the reading program, or to support with external registrations and sign-ups).
-Schedule and administer vocab quizzes and reading assignments, and answer queries regarding the same.
-Support with the development of timely and error-free Standard Deliverables
-Support with independent content creation and development.
-Assist with independent research into opportunities under all pillars of the team, following briefs with minimal supervision.
Qualifications Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
-Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
-Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
-Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
-Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.

We are seeking academics and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to mentor high-school students for the Discover Research Program.
Responsibilities:
-Offer customised, one-on-one virtual research mentorship to high-school students worldwide, per Discover’s program structure.
-Conduct 10-15 bi-weekly sessions for a period of 3-6 months.
-Instruct the fundamentals of (social) science research, including but not restricted to:
-Assisting students in selecting a topic.
-Aiding in accessing open source data.
-Supporting students in composing a literature review.
-Providing aid in students creating a report summarising their findings in a specific area of scholarship.
Qualifications Required:
-Minimum PhD-level qualification
-Candidates currently enrolled in a PhD are also welcome to apply!
-Must have an affinity towards mentoring students.
-Keen interest in broadening knowledge horizons to make academic research more accessible.
-The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English.
-Previous mentoring or teaching experience is a plus.
