Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIPPAMS will lead the company’s strategic vision and operational execution. The CEO will be responsible for driving growth, leading efforts to procure funding, ensuring the platform effectively serves its users, and positioning PIPPAMS as a leader in the educational technology space.

The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with a solid understanding of technology, guiding PIPPAMS through its early-stage growth while navigating the challenges of a competitive edtech market. The CEO must make sure that PIPPAMS accomplishes its aim which is to assist students in finding and getting involved in activities that improve their academics and personal characteristics.

About PIPPAMS:

PIPPAMS is a pre-seed education technology platform aimed at facilitating extracurricular activity discovery and management for schools and students around the world. Working with a global network of extracurricular activity providers and opportunities, PIPPAMS vets, recommends, and promotes activities, based on a students’ interests and goals. PIPPAMS then supports students and schools at each step of engagement, based on its parent company Essai Education’s proprietary methods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Design and run PIPPAMS’ business strategy to achieve growth, market penetration, and profitability.

2. Vision and Mission: Communicate the vision of PIPPAMS in a way that makes it clear to all members of the team.

3. Market Expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand PIPPAMS’ reach and impact.

4.Management: Establishing strong networks with educational institutions, customers among others.

5. Product Development: Collaborate with the development team to ensure that PIPPAMS continues to evolve and meet the needs of its users.

6. Team Leadership: To lead, mentor and motivate a diverse team by promoting innovation, accountability and excellence.

7. Funding Procurement: To identify, approach, and procure funding for PIPPAMS’ ongoing growth. Series A, Series B fundraising procurement

8. Financial Oversight: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure the sustainability and growth of the company.

9. Customer Focus: User-centric approach, ensuring that PIPPAMS delivers exceptional value and experiences to its users.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a pre- seed or startup or edtech company.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

-Excellent understanding of software development or product management in a technology-driven environment.

-Should be a problem solver – to analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth

-Must have an entrepreneurial bent of mind – someone who is looking for a low-risk entrepreneurial opportunity, with assistance in capital deployment and business strategy

-A deep sense of ownership and accountability.

-Excellent communication with strong interpersonal skills – should be an inspiring, motivated and convincing personality.

-Strong leadership and managerial skills : The CEO would be required to build a strong team of like-minded and driven individuals in an pre- seed capacity; lead and motivate said team members to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team

-Prior experience of procurement of funding is an advantage.

We are hiring for Account Managers in our Application Support team, who will manage student accounts and provide support with the development of memorable, high quality, and effective application materials.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Full-time work in a hybrid fashion at the Delhi office, 11am-7pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 11am-4pm on Saturdays

– Provide comprehensive administrative support for students, including but not limited to portal management

-Providing comprehensive editorial support for students with respect to a variety of application materials.

Qualifications Required:

– A completed (or nearly completed) Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated aptitude and experience in writing

– Ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive fashion

We are hiring for Associates in our Profile Building team, who will be assisting with the counselling program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Support 25+ accounts and assist with administrative protocols as required.

-Attend client meetings and shadow student sessions, providing assistance to account leaders or team leadership as required.

-Independently lead some student sessions (as part of the reading program, or to support with external registrations and sign-ups).

-Schedule and administer vocab quizzes and reading assignments, and answer queries regarding the same.

-Support with the development of timely and error-free Standard Deliverables

-Support with independent content creation and development.

-Assist with independent research into opportunities under all pillars of the team, following briefs with minimal supervision.

Qualifications Required:

-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.

-Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

-Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.

-Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.

We are seeking academics and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to mentor high-school students for the Discover Research Program.

Responsibilities:

-Offer customised, one-on-one virtual research mentorship to high-school students worldwide, per Discover’s program structure.

-Conduct 10-15 bi-weekly sessions for a period of 3-6 months.

-Instruct the fundamentals of (social) science research, including but not restricted to:

-Assisting students in selecting a topic.

-Aiding in accessing open source data.

-Supporting students in composing a literature review.

-Providing aid in students creating a report summarising their findings in a specific area of scholarship.

Qualifications Required:

-Minimum PhD-level qualification

-Candidates currently enrolled in a PhD are also welcome to apply!

-Must have an affinity towards mentoring students.

-Keen interest in broadening knowledge horizons to make academic research more accessible.

-The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English.

-Previous mentoring or teaching experience is a plus.

This role involves identifying and nurturing relationships with schools, educational institutions, and activity providers worldwide to build partnerships that align with PIPPAMS’ mission of enhancing student engagement and academic growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, relationship management, and strategic planning, with an understanding of the education technology landscape. The BDO will play a key role in positioning PIPPAMS as the go-to platform for extracurricular activity discovery and management.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development:

  • Identify, approach, and establish relationships with schools, extracurricular activity providers, and educational organizations.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements that align with PIPPAMS’ objectives.

Market Expansion:

  • Analyze potential markets and develop strategies to increase PIPPAMS’ global footprint.
  • Drive adoption of the platform in untapped regions by understanding local education systems and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to handle queries on social media and other channels

Revenue Growth:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Head of PIPPAMS to define revenue goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Monitor performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful implementation of partnerships.
  • Act as a liaison between PIPPAMS and its partners, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

 

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement business development plans aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify trends and opportunities within the edtech and extracurricular activity spaces to keep PIPPAMS ahead of market demands.

 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.

Experience:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in edtech, education, or a related sector.
